Scopely is seeking a Marketing Data Scientist to join the Marketing Analytics team in Barcelona, Spain, on a hybrid basis. You will develop models to guide paid media investment, measure advertising effectiveness, and optimize monetization while supporting recurring marketing decisions.

You will collaborate with User Acquisition, Ads, Finance, and Analytics Engineering to translate data into actionable insights and scalable workflows.

Qualificações

• 3+ years of experience as a Data Scientist
• Background in performance marketing and mobile free-to-play gaming strongly preferred
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with data-driven results
• Experience in marketing modeling techniques (media mix, time series forecasting, segmentation)
• Advanced SQL and Python; exposure to GCP and BigQuery is a plus
• Visualization skills with Looker, QlikView, Tableau, or PowerBI
• Experience in building production data science workflows; orchestration with Airflow; Docker; CI/CD and monitoring is a plus
• Strong communication to explain findings to technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Bachelor’s degree in quantitative/scientific field or equivalent
• Experience in games industry is a plus

Responsabilidades

• Develop and maintain models for paid media investment (spend-response, LTV forecasts, UA forecasts, budget optimization)
• Measure the effectiveness and incremental impact of advertising using statistical methods
• Improve Ads initiatives to optimize monetization and bidding strategy
• Translate model outputs into actionable recommendations for marketing and finance partners
• Collaborate with UA, Ads, Finance and Analytics Engineering to turn data science into repeatable tools and workflows
