Job Title: Marketing Content Executive - IBERIA (Madrid Based) - Global Asset Manager

Location: Madrid

About the role

The Content Manager - Italy & Iberia supports the planning, development, localisation, adaptation and delivery of high-quality, commercially relevant and compliant content across Italy, Spain and Portugal. The role works closely with market-facing Marketing Managers, local business stakeholders, the Central Content function and relevant Centres of Expertise to ensure content activity supports client engagement, intermediary marketing priorities and selected market activation needs.

This is a hands-on content planning and coordination role. It helps translate local and regional commercial priorities into clear content outputs, briefs, adaptations and activation support, while ensuring consistency with the firms’ brand, regulatory requirements and the broader Europe Marketing operating model.

The team

Europe Marketing operates a market-led model aligned to local commercial priorities, audience needs and growth opportunities. Market-facing Marketing Managers own local market priorities and activation, while content roles support the planning, development, localisation, adaptation and governance of relevant marketing content. The Content Manager - Italy & Iberia works with Marketing Managers, local stakeholders, the Central Content function and Centres of Expertise to deliver content outputs against agreed market, campaign and content priorities. The role also supports coordination with PR & Communications colleagues, the European PR Manager and relevant agency partners where local content, event, campaign or messaging input is required.

What you’ll do

You will support the planning, development, adaptation and delivery of marketing content for Italy, Spain and Portugal. Working with Marketing Managers, local stakeholders and the Central Content function, you will help ensure that content is audience-focused, commercially relevant, compliant and suitable for activation across priority channels. You will coordinate content inputs, localisation requirements, approval processes, publication timelines and performance feedback, while contributing to consistent and scalable content delivery across Italy and Iberia.

Key responsibilities
A. Content Planning & Market Alignment
  • Support content planning for Italy, Spain and Portugal in line with local market priorities and Europe Marketing plans.
  • Work closely with Marketing Managers to understand commercial priorities, audience needs and activation requirements.
  • Translate market, campaign, product and client themes into practical content requirements and deliverables.
  • Maintain a clear view of content priorities, deadlines and dependencies across Italy and Iberia.
  • Work closely with the Central Content function to align market content requirements with broader editorial priorities, messaging frameworks and reusable content assets.
  • Coordinate the development, adaptation and localisation of content across campaigns, events, email, web, social media, PR, media and partner marketing channels.
  • Ensure content is clear, accurate, audience-appropriate, commercially relevant and aligned with brand and regulatory standards.
  • Manage content inputs, version control, approvals and publication timelines in collaboration with relevant stakeholders.
  • Support the reuse and amplification of content across channels to improve efficiency and impact.
  • Work with the Central Content function and relevant Centres of Expertise to ensure content quality, consistency and scalability.
C. PR, Media and External Visibility Support
  • Coordinate with the European PR Manager, PR & Communications colleagues and relevant agency partners where content input, messaging alignment, local adaptation or amplification support is required.
  • Support PR-relevant content deliverables such as thought leadership adaptation, messaging input, local market proof points, media-facing materials or external visibility content, where appropriate.
  • Ensure PR and media-related content remains aligned with the firms’ brand, regulatory standards and agreed market priorities.
  • Provide content contribution and coordination to support local PR, media and external visibility activity.
  • Support content needs for distributors, private banks, advisory networks and other intermediary partners across Italy, Spain and Portugal.
  • Work with Marketing Managers, Client Group, Sales and Client Services to understand client requirements and content opportunities.
  • Prepare, adapt or coordinate marketing materials for client meetings, partner activity, events and follow-up communications where required.
  • Use market feedback and performance insight to help improve content relevance and effectiveness.

  • Build effective working relationships with Marketing Managers, Client Group, Sales, Client Services, Country Management and relevant Centres of Expertise.
  • Coordinate content requirements with Content, Digital, Events, Social Media, PR, Brand and Marketing Operations teams.

  • Help ensure local content delivery is joined up, efficient and aligned with the wider Europe Marketing operating model.
F. Governance, Quality & Measurement
  • Support content governance, ensuring materials follow approval processes, brand standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Maintain accurate records of content versions, approvals and usage where required.
  • Monitor content performance and capture feedback to support continuous improvement.
  • Contribute to more consistent, scalable and effective content delivery across Italy and Iberia.
