Job summary

Tecnoambiente Marine survey division is seeking a Data Centre Manager to oversee data, deliverables and reporting. You will ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget and to the highest standards while coordinating with colleagues from different departments.

Responsibilities include managing data flows, data quality, and storage, providing processing plans, and guiding field teams. You will apply QHSE procedures and drive continuous improvement in a fast-growing marine environment.

Qualifications

• 5 years of experience in Marine survey.
• Degree in surveying, geology, oceanography, marine engineering or a related subject.
• Very good written and spoken English.
• Knowledge of GIS and data/processing/reporting flows in marine survey.

Responsibilities

• Advise the Data Centre Team and Project Manager on data flows and ensure TECNOAMBIENTE standards.
• Provide the data management plan prior to project start-up in liaison with DataCentre Team and Project Manager.
• Provide an overall processing plan for each job project before field work starts.
• Provide clear instructions to Project Team on processing, GIS/Charting, reporting and deliverables requirements.
• Set up and manage the project data flows and coordinate the Processing team.
• Support the vessel when data/specifications topics affect data quality or project specs.
• Follow up the data in the vessels on quality and completeness via Daily Reports.
• Coordinate quality checks on offshore processed data as needed.
