Tecnoambiente is seeking a Marine Scientist to support offshore survey operations, collecting, processing and analyzing subsea data with geophysical and geotechnical technologies. You will ensure data quality and compliance with client requirements and industry standards, reporting to the Head of Operations and, offshore, to the Party Chief.

The role may act as Party Chief for suitably experienced personnel.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Hydrography, Marine Geomatics, Oceanography, Geophysics, or a related field.
• 3 years of experience in geophysical and/or geotechnical surveying in offshore environments or related fields.
• Proficiency with data acquisition software and tools (QINSy, Qimera, NaviSuite, CARIS, QPS, HYPACK, SonarWiz).
• English mandatory (100%), Spanish and Catalan desirable.

Responsabilidades

• Perform offshore and onshore survey activities in various roles (Surveyor, Geophysicist, Geologist, Marine Geologist, etc.).
• Comply with health, safety, environmental, quality, and industry requirements.
• Mobilize, calibrate, operate, maintain, and troubleshoot survey equipment and software.
• Acquire, monitor, process, interpret, and quality-control bathymetric, geophysical, geotechnical, seismic, and navigation data.
• Prepare and maintain survey documentation, procedures, quality records, and equipment configuration logs.
