Thales Alenia Space in Madrid Tres Cantos, Spain is seeking a production-oriented engineer to optimize manufacturing processes, maintain manufacturing documentation, and support the Autonomous Production Unit. The role involves participating in reviews, updating drawings, and shaping manufacturing flows with a multidisciplinary team.

Ideal candidates hold a Master’s degree in a relevant field and demonstrate strong organizational, communication, and problem‑solving skills, with English mandatory

Your responsibilities will include:

• Following and optimizing established manufacturing processes.
• Creating and maintaining appropriate documentation for manufacturing files.
• Providing support to the Autonomous Production Unit ( APU) departments.
• Participating in internal manufacturing reviews and implementing corrective and preventive actions.
• Reviewing internal documentation, including part placement and assembly drawings.
• Designing and editing manufacturing flows based on industrialization needs.
• Managing tools required for manufacturing processes.

Qualifications

To excel in this role, our ideal candidate should possess:

• Organizational Skills: Demonstrated ability to stay organized and adhere to company procedures and program requirements.
• Collaborative Spirit: Proficient in working as part of a team, with effective communication skills when interacting with manufacturers, internal stakeholders, and subcontractors.
• Knowledge of PCB and/or Mechanical Design: Familiarity with PCB (Printed Circuit Board) and/or mechanical design is advantageous.
• Effective Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Independence and Teamwork: Ability to work independently while also contributing effectively within multidisciplinary teams.
• Behavioral Attributes: Exhibit responsibility, pragmatism, results-oriented mindset, agility, and dynamism.
• Adaptability and Learning: Motivated to learn new processes and tools.
• Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving abilities.
• Languages: English essential, French would be a plus

Education

Master degree in Production, Industrial, Material Science, Electronics, Aeronautics.
