Thales Alenia Space in Madrid Tres Cantos is seeking a Senior High Speed Digital Engineer to design and validate digital electronics for on-board units, using FPGAs and microprocessors, with emphasis on high-speed links and signal integrity.

You will capture schematics, run Mentor xDesigner/LTspice/ADS simulations, participate in design reviews and validation campaigns, and collaborate with cross-functional teams in a hybrid Madrid environment.

Formación

• Engineering Master in Electronics with strong digital design background.
• Minimum 6 years in digital electronics design for space or aerospace.
• Experience with FPGAs, memory interfaces and high-speed links.
• Knowledge of space standards (ECSS) is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Understand requirements and define digital hardware solutions.
• Design digital electronics for on-board units using FPGAs and microprocessors.
• Prepare design documentation and schemes; capture schematics in Mentor xDesigner.
• Perform analog/digital simulations and signal integrity analyses.
• Review layouts and PCB routing; develop board-level tests procedures.
• Support validation campaigns and internal/customer design reviews.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and contribute to agile processes.
