M47 Labs SL in Barcelona is seeking an experienced Manual QA Tester to join our expanding mobile QA group. You will perform manual testing on mobile apps and backend APIs, verify fixes, and triage issues with cross-functional teams to ensure quality releases.

You will review server logs using Splunk, execute tests, and contribute to regression testing across web and TV apps. A basic knowledge of Python for flaky tests is a plus; the role is on-site in Barcelona with a comprehensive compensation

• Proven experience with manual testing of mobile apps and backend/APIs.
• Expertise in API functional testing and automated test execution.
• Familiarity with server-side logging tools (Splunk) and HTTP traffic monitoring (e.g. Charles Proxy).
• Strong debugging and problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail.

Responsabilidades

About your day-to-day:

The QA team is looking for an experienced Manual QA Tester to work as part of our expanding mobile applications QA group.

• Perform manual testing to uncover usability issues, edge cases and regressions that automation may miss
• Verification of bug fixes and server changes for release qualification
• Execute automated tests and triage test failures
• Review splunk queries and dashboards, create new ones as needed
• Perform regression testing for web app and TV app on mobile and Mac
• Write, execute and maintain comprehensive server-side manual test plans
• Analyze test results, troubleshoot and triage issues with different teams to drive towards root cause identification and resolution.

This is for you if you have:

• Fast learning capabilities with the ability to understand complex relationships between backend systems and services
• Proficiency in testing mobile apps and backend/APIs
• Deep experience in API functional testing, API test development, execution of automated tests and bug reporting.
• Experience with web devTools, server side logging tools (e.g. Splunk) and HTTP traffic monitoring tools (e.g. Charles Proxy).
• Strong problem solving and debugging skills with meticulous attention to detail.
• Outstanding organizational, interpersonal and communication skills (oral and written)
• Bonus qualification - basic knowledge of Python to be able to fix flaky tests and provide deeper analysis for the automation test failures
