Elsevier is seeking a Contract Manager, Sales, based in Madrid, to support contracting activity by preparing, reviewing and negotiating sales contracts and related legal documents. This role emphasizes accuracy, commercial awareness and adherence to approved templates and policies.

You will collaborate with Sales, Legal, Account Support and Finance to enable compliant commercial outcomes, strong customer experience and operational efficiency in a fast-paced environment.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in law or equivalent; 3–5 years in contract management.
• Fluent in English and Spanish; Portuguese a plus.
• Ability to review agreements against templates, policies and fallback positions.
• Strong commercial judgment and clear written/verbal communication.
• Experience with CLM tools such as Conga or Luminance is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Review, draft and negotiate sales contracts and related documents.
• Identify non-standard terms and contracting risks early.
• Apply sound judgment to routine to moderately complex issues.
• Manage contract matters from intake through execution and tracking.
• Collaborate with Sales, Legal, Finance and other SMEs.
• Communicate clearly with internal and external stakeholders.
• Prepare clean, accurate contract documents reflecting services and terms.
• Use contract management systems and approved tools to improve efficiency.
• Identify recurring issues and opportunities to improve templates.
