BBVA Corporate & Investment Banking (CIB) Advisory unit seeks a senior M&A professional to lead day-to-day execution of buy-side and sell-side transactions. You will oversee valuation analyses, financial modeling, and deal structuring while coordinating with internal teams and external advisers to deliver high-quality recommendations.

You will manage senior stakeholders, drive governance materials, and mentor Associates and Analysts.

Formación

• 6+ years of relevant M&A experience in an investment bank, M&A boutique, or leading professional services firm.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, Engineering, or another quantitative field; Master’s in Finance or CFA is a plus.
• Strong financial modeling, accounting, corporate finance, and valuation skills; ability to review complex analyses.
• Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills with experience in Bloomberg, FactSet, Refinitiv, Capital IQ, or Mergermarket.

Responsabilidades

• Lead day-to-day execution of buy-side and sell-side M&A transactions from initial assessment through signing and closing.
• Lead valuation analyses and financial models (DCF, LBO, comparables) and evaluate transaction structures.
• Coordinate with senior stakeholders, advisers, and internal teams to ensure alignment and timely delivery.
• Prepare transaction recommendations, analyses, and governance materials for senior management.
• Oversee information memorandums, teasers, pitch books, and other deal materials, ensuring quality control.
