The firm works across buy-side and sell-side mandates, providing hands-on strategic and financial advice throughout the transaction process. As the team continues to grow, it is looking to appoint an M&A Associate to support the execution of live transactions and take increasing responsibility across the deal process.
This is a highly execution-focused role within a lean advisory team. The successful candidate will work directly with senior bankers and clients, gaining broad exposure across origination, analysis, transaction execution and negotiation.
Responsibilities
- Support the execution of buy-side and sell-side M&A transactions, taking responsibility for financial analysis, valuation, transaction materials and day-to-day deal coordination.
- Build and review detailed financial models, valuation analyses and transaction scenarios, including DCF, comparable-company and precedent-transaction methodologies.
- Prepare high-quality client materials including information memoranda, management presentations, pitch books, valuation materials and transaction updates.
- Conduct detailed company, sector and market analysis to support transaction positioning, valuation and strategic decision-making.
- Coordinate due diligence processes, working closely with clients, investors, legal advisers, accountants and other transaction counterparties.
- Manage buyer and investor research, target screening and outreach preparation across both domestic and cross-border transactions.
- Support senior team members in client meetings, management presentations and negotiations throughout the transaction process.
- Take increasing ownership of workstreams and junior team coordination as experience develops, ensuring transactions progress efficiently and to a consistently high standard.
Requirements
- Approximately 2-4 years of relevant experience within M&A, investment banking, corporate finance, transaction services or a closely related advisory environment.
- Strong transaction execution experience, with exposure to live buy-side or sell-side M&A processes from initial analysis through to completion.
- Excellent financial modelling and valuation skills, with a strong understanding of corporate finance, accounting and transaction mechanics.
- Experience preparing professional transaction materials including information memoranda, presentations, valuation analyses and financial models.
- Strong analytical capability and attention to detail, with the ability to manage several workstreams simultaneously in a transaction-driven environment.
- Commercially minded and comfortable working directly with senior colleagues, clients and transaction counterparties.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with fluency in Spanish and strong professional English.
- Proactive, dependable and highly motivated, with the ability to operate effectively within a lean, entrepreneurial advisory team.
This is an opportunity to join a growing independent advisory platform with direct exposure to senior bankers, clients and live M&A transactions. The role offers significant responsibility from an early stage and strong development opportunities within a high-performing corporate finance team.
