Grand Hyatt Barcelona is seeking a Linen & Laundry Attendant to join the Housekeeping team. The role covers care, organization and distribution of hotel linens and uniforms to ensure the highest cleanliness and presentation across departments.

As part of an operational team, you will work with Housekeeping and others to maintain smooth linen flows, following safety and hygiene procedures and supporting inventory controls.

Formación

• Experience in a laundry, linen room, or housekeeping role is preferred.
• Knowledge of garment care and laundry processes.
• Ability to properly iron different fabrics and textiles.
• Basic sewing skills for minor repairs or alterations.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to high standards.

Responsabilidades

• Sort, wash, dry, iron, and fold linens and uniforms according to standards.
• Store and organize clean linens and uniforms.
• Distribute linen and uniforms to departments as required.
• Monitor stock levels and report shortages or damages.
• Identify stained or damaged items for treatment or replacement.
• Maintain cleanliness and order in laundry and linen areas.
• Operate laundry equipment safely and efficiently.
• Follow hygiene, safety, and chemical handling procedures.
• Support inventory controls and periodic stock counts.
• Respond to departmental requests related to linen and uniforms.
• Coordinate with external laundry suppliers when needed.
• Maintain records of laundry operations and usage.
