European Space Agency - ESA in Villanueva de la Cañada, Spain, invites a Lead Ground Segment Engineer to head the Low LEO IPT within the CSC-I team. You will coordinate with ESTEC, manage work packages, and ensure alignment with programme objectives across ground segment, operations, launch, LEOP, and IoT domains.

Formación

• Master’s degree in engineering with 4 years of relevant professional experience.
• Ability to work autonomously with strong coordination inside large programmes.
• Experience with ground segment systems and satellite communications.
• Proven track record in leading diverse, multi-site teams and suppliers.

Responsabilidades

• Lead the Low LEO IPT in Spain, ensuring coherent execution of activities.
• Coordinate with the Low LEO Team at ESTEC for alignment and priorities.
• Manage consolidation and implementation activities and schedules.
• Interface with industrial partners, consortiums and stakeholders.
• Oversee ground segment, operations prep and operational concepts.
• Coordinate launch, LEOP and IOT activities and readiness.
• Ensure compatibility with future EU IRIS² baseline and services.
• Support roadmap integration of Low LEO capabilities into EU IRIS².
