Job summary

NES Fircroft in Spain seeks a Logistics Coordinator for a remote, part-time contract to support equipment transportation planning and logistics execution on a 10 hours/week, 4–6 week assignment. You will develop project logistics plans, prepare RFQs for freight forwarders, coordinate domestic and international shipments under Incoterms, and monitor progress.

A strong ability to review vendor drawings and documentation is essential to identify lifting points, weights, and special handling

Logistics Coordinator (Part-Time Contract)

We are seeking an experienced Logistics Coordinator to support a project team with equipment transportation planning and logistics execution.

Contract Details

• Approx. 10 hours per week
• 4-6 week assignment
• Remote working

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and coordinate project logistics plans for equipment and material deliveries.
• Prepare RFQs for freight forwarders and evaluate logistics proposals.
• Coordinate domestic and international shipments, ensuring compliance with schedules, customs requirements, and Incoterms.
• Monitor shipment progress and provide logistics updates to the project team.
• Support site delivery planning, including unloading, storage, lifting, and access requirements.

Technical Documentation & Drawing Review (Critical Requirement)

A key part of this assignment will be the ability to review and interpret vendor technical drawings and documentation to support transportation planning. The successful candidate will be expected to:

• Review and analyse vendor drawings, packing lists, and technical documentation to identify transportation constraints such as dimensions, weights, lifting requirements, centre of gravity considerations, and special handling requirements.
• Verify transport limits, packaging requirements, lifting points, and shipment readiness based on equipment drawings and vendor documentation.
• Identify potential logistics risks early and provide recommendations to ensure safe and efficient transportation of equipment.

Requirements

• Proven experience in project logistics, freight forwarding, or heavy equipment transportation.
