Job summary

Deutsche Pfandbriefbank AG (pbb) in Madrid seeks a Junior Loan Manager DACH / Junior Credit Risk Manager DACH to assess German/DACH transactions, perform cash-flow analyses, and ensure risk-aligned decisions.

You will work with Originators and Senior Loan Managers, support CP/CS and disbursement processes, and monitor collateral and portfolio quality.

Fluent English and German are required; a degree in business, economics, or real estate, plus MS Office and SAP knowledge, completes the profile.

Qualifications

• Completed university degree in business administration, economics, real estate management, or comparable knowledge.
• Initial experience in credit risk management, preferably in real estate/corporate/structured finance or investment banking.
• Fluent English and very good German skills; knowledge of another European language is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepare loan applications for German/DACH market.
• Conduct cash flow analyses and ratings aligning with credit risk strategy.
• Act as a contact for clients together with Originators and Senior Loan Managers.
• Support in managing relationships for new business and the German portfolio.
• Participate in CP/CS and disbursement processes, including collateral structuring.
• Perform ongoing risk and portfolio monitoring to ensure data quality.
• Support in strategic projects and cross-functional initiatives.
