Job summary

Beiersdorf Manufacturing Tres Cantos, S.L. is seeking a Line & Process Engineer for a six‑month + full‑time temporary assignment in Tres Cantos, Madrid.

You will support packaging operations across multiple lines, driving process improvements and operational excellence in collaboration with Production, Maintenance and Quality teams. You will develop technical documentation, deliver operator trainings, coordinate process changes and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives in a fast‑paced

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• Hands‑on mindset with ability to balance analysis and execution.
• Experience with 5S, SMED, Fishbone, Root Cause Analysis valued.
• Knowledge of automation and advanced manufacturing is a plus.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Support and optimize manufacturing and packaging processes across several production lines.
• Develop, update and maintain technical documentation, operating standards and work instructions.
• Deliver training sessions and technical guidance to production operators.
• Coordinate and communicate process and equipment changes within the production area.
• Collaborate with Maintenance to identify and implement technical improvements.
• Lead or participate in continuous improvement and operational excellence projects.
• Support line trials, validations and format change activities.
• Analyze deviations, equipment losses and operational issues to identify root causes.
• Promote 5S, safety and quality standards.
• Participate in automation projects and advanced manufacturing initiatives.

Your Tasks

An exciting opportunity is available within the Fill & Pack area for a Line & Process Engineer on a temporary contract.

This position supports packaging operations across multiple production lines, working closely with Production, Maintenance and Quality teams to drive process improvements, standardization and operational excellence.

• Support and optimize manufacturing and packaging processes across several production lines.


• Develop, update and maintain technical documentation, operating standards and work instructions.


• Deliver training sessions and technical guidance to production operators.


• Coordinate and communicate process and equipment changes within the production area.


• Collaborate closely with Maintenance teams to identify and implement technical improvements.


• Lead or participate in continuous improvement initiatives and operational excellence projects.


• Support line trials, validations and format change activities.


• Analyze process deviations, equipment losses and operational issues to identify root causes and implement sustainable solutions.


• Promote and support 5S, safety and quality standards.


• Participate in projects involving automation and advanced manufacturing technologies.

Your Profile

• Degree in Industrial, Mechanical, Electromechanical or related Engineering discipline.


• 2 to 5 years of experience within a manufacturing environment.


• High-potential junior profiles may also be considered.


• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.


• Hands-on mindset with the ability to balance analysis and execution.


• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced production environment.


• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.


• Knowledge of 5S, SMED, Fishbone Analysis, Root Cause Analysis or similar methodologies is highly valued.


• Experience with automated manufacturing equipment is an advantage.


• Electromechanical knowledge or experience is highly valued.
