Ocean Winds is seeking a Legal Associate to join the HQ Legal Team in Madrid. You will provide broad legal support across the business, interfacing with Business Development, Finance, Procurement, IT, People and Innovation, and work on complex transactions in a fast-paced international environment.

The role emphasizes M&A, project development and project finance exposure, with offshore wind experience preferred.

Formación

• Law degree from a reputable university.
• Master’s degree or postgraduate qualification is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Provide legal support to HQ teams and country/project level, including BD, M&A, bid structuring, origination and partnerships; Finance; Procurement; IT; People/HR; and Innovation.
• Deliver general legal support across the organisation, including commercial agreements and corporate governance matters.
• Identify and manage legal risks, proposing practical, commercially sound solutions.
• Draft, review and negotiate complex transactional and project documentation.
• Analyse and advise on complex legal issues arising across the business.
• Manage claims and contentious matters as relevant.
• Coordinate external counsel with focus on quality, responsiveness and cost control.
• Monitor legal and regulatory developments and share knowledge and best practices; provide internal training where appropriate.
• Ensure compliance with Ocean Winds’ policies and applicable laws; foster ethics and compliance culture.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of legal processes and decision-making.
