China Three Gorges (Europe) S.A is hiring a Legal Counsel to join its Legal & Compliance Department in Madrid. The role focuses on M&A transactions, corporate counsel matters, and contract review within the renewable energy sector.

The ideal candidate has a law degree and at least 3 years of M&A experience, with fluency in English and Spanish. A Master’s in renewable energy is desirable; experience in renewable sector is a plus. This is a full-time, on-site position in Madrid.

• 3+ years of M&A and corporate counsel experience (law firm or in-house).
• Advanced English (C1-C2) and Advanced Spanish (C1-C2/Native).
• Desirable: Master’s or specialization in renewable energy.

Responsabilidades

• Management of M&A transactions and corporate counsel matters.
• Review of contracts and ancillary documents (EPC, O&M, asset management, facility agreements) in the renewable energy sector.
• Proactive prevention and management of legal risks and disputes.
• Coordination with external legal counsel for global projects and litigation.
• Providing legal support to internal departments (Finance, M&A, HR, Operations, Development).
