DSV Barcelona is seeking a Legal Counsel to provide legal support to our Spanish entities, partnering with senior management, commercial teams, customers, and the global Legal Department.

You will review and negotiate customer contracts, advise on legal and compliance risks, and ensure alignment with Group policies and governance standards. The role supports major commercial projects and M&A activities, acting as a trusted advisor.

Formación

• Law degree and eligibility to practice.
• 5–7 years of relevant legal experience.
• Experience in transport or logistics is preferred.
• Strong communication and analytical abilities.

What are we looking for?

At DSV Road, we want to incorporate a Legal Counsel into our Barcelona office. As a Legal Counsel in the Group's Legal Department, the role provides legal support and risk management for DSV's Spanish entities, working closely with senior management, commercial teams, customers, and colleagues in the global Legal Department. The position focuses on reviewing and negotiating customer contracts, advising on legal and compliance risks, and ensuring alignment with Group policies and governance standards. The role supports major commercial projects and M&A activities, acting as a trusted legal advisor to the business and contributing to the efficient execution of legal tasks.

Among other responsibilities, the main tasks include:

• Ability to effectively prioritize tasks and activities.
• Maintaining close relationships with commercial and operational teams to ensure key areas and tasks are properly addressed.
• Ensuring contracts are reviewed in accordance with company policies.
• Ensuring compliance with corporate policies.
• Managing contract review and negotiation.
• Providing reports to Management.

What requirements should you meet?

• Between 5 and 7 years of relevant experience (preferably in transport and logistics; other sectors will also be considered).
• Bachelor's degree in Law.
• Ability to prioritize workload according to Company guidelines, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality legal support while balancing strategic, operational, and urgent matters.
• Ability to effectively balance work quality and deadlines.
• Structured and methodical person.
• Strong personality with the ability to communicate key messages clearly and assertively.
• Ability to plan projects and lead their execution.
• Ability to remain calm under pressure.
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative, open approach.
• Ability to work effectively in multicultural environments.
• Advanced level of English (minimum C1 according to CEFR).
