China Three Gorges Europe S.A is seeking a Legal & Compliance Intern to support its Legal & Compliance Department. The role involves legal research, contract review, corporate governance, and day-to-day administrative activities under supervision.

Responsibilities include assisting with audits, due diligence, and maintaining records, along with drafting and organizing legal documents and policies. Fluent English and Spanish are required, with a strong command of MS Office and Windows OS.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Law or equivalent relevant discipline.
• English advanced (C1-C2).
• Spanish advanced (C1-C2/Native).
• Intermediate to Advanced proficiency with Windows OS and MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).

Responsabilidades

• Support the Legal & Compliance Department across a broad range of workstreams, including legal research, contract review, corporate governance matters, and day-to-day administrative activities.
• Assist with internal audits, compliance reviews, inspections, and monitoring of internal control processes.
• Prepare documentation and assist in due diligence processes and maintaining legal records.
• Respond to legal and compliance queries from business departments and affiliated companies under supervision.
• Draft, review, and organize legal documents, internal policies, procedures, and compliance materials.
• Maintain legal and compliance records, databases, and documentation for accuracy and accessibility.

At China Three Gorges Europe we are looking for a Legal & Compliance Intern to join our Legal & Compliance Department. In this role, you will be responsible of the following tasks:

• Support the Legal & Compliance Department across a broad range of workstreams, including legal research, contract review, corporate governance matters, and day-to-day administrative activities.
• Assist with internal audits, compliance reviews, inspections, and the monitoring of internal control processes.
• Provide support in corporate transactions and other legal matters by preparing documentation, assisting in due diligence processes, and maintaining legal records.
• Assist in responding to legal and compliance queries from business departments and affiliated companies under the supervision of the Legal & Compliance Department.
• Assist in the drafting, review, and organization of legal documents, internal policies, procedures, and compliance materials.
• Maintain legal and compliance records, databases, and documentation to ensure accuracy and accessibility.
• Bachelor’s degree in Law, or equivalent relevant discipline..
• English Advanced level (equivalent to C1-C2)
• Spanish Advanced level (equivalent C1-C2/Native)

Other Valuable Requirements:

• Intermediate to Advanced level of proficiency with Windows OS, MS Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Communication skills and relationship management, strategic thinking, ability to execute, problem-solving and attention to detail. Agile thinking and problem solving.
• Proactivity, with the ability to work independently. Ability to learn and apply internal procedures. Ability to juggle multiple projects and tasks at once.
