ContourGlobal, a KKR company, is hiring a Business Development Intern to join the Business Development team in Madrid. You will combine financial analysis, coordinate projects, and support decisions across the full lifecycle of clean energy investments.

This internship offers hands-on experience in a dynamic, international environment, with responsibilities spanning financial modeling, investment memos, and portfolio reporting. Develop skills while contributing to meaningful renewables projects.

Formación

• Degree (in progress) in Industrial Engineering, Energy Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
• Strong analytical and organizational skills.
• Fluency in English, written and spoken.
• Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint and standard office tools.
• Proactive, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced project environment.

Responsabilidades

• Support maintaining financial models for renewable energy projects and run sensitivity/scenario analyses.
• Support preparing investment memos and financial summaries for internal and external stakeholders.
• Prepare and update pitch decks, project presentations, and portfolio reports.
• Compile project data into clear visual formats for internal and management reporting.
• Support coordinating workflows between internal teams (legal, financing, technical) to ensure deadlines are met and track pending deliverables.
• Assist in managing NDA processes and support the organization of financing documentation and data room preparation.
• Assist in tracking project milestones, permitting timelines, and land agreement status across the portfolio.
• Support due diligence tasks for new project opportunities and liaise with external advisors under supervision.
• Maintain project folders, document repositories, and pipeline trackers, and assist with regulatory and administrative filings as needed.

As Business Development Intern, you will join our Business Development team! In this role, you will have the opportunity to combine financial analysis, coordinate projects and support decisions, offering a comprehensive view of the full lifecycle of clean energy investments.

We are currently looking for an analytical and well-organized individual with a strong interest in the renewable energy sector to support the team in the development and growth of a portfolio of strategic projects.

Key responsibilities:

• Support maintaining financial models for renewable energy projects and run sensitivity/scenario analyses
