Job summary

Lexroom, based in Madrid, seeks a legal data specialist to build and maintain its Proprietary Database for AI-assisted legal work. You’ll test the product, ensure data relevance, and guide development through user feedback.

Ideal candidates hold a Law degree in Spain with 1–3 years of practice, and may have product management experience or familiarity with legal knowledge bases. Early hires will shape the team and approach.

Qualifications

• Must hold a Law degree in Spain.
• 1–3 years of experience as a practicing lawyer (civil law preferred).
• Willingness to pursue a challenging career in a fast-growing environment.
• Strong plus: experience in Product Management or managing legal knowledge bases.

Responsibilities

• Test and validate the product as part of the product team.
• Establish processes to keep the database updated, relevant and consistent.
• Collect users’ feedback and steer product development accordingly.
• Collaborate with data annotators and AI engineers to create high-quality datasets for AI.
• As an early hire, set the tone for future colleagues and scale with the company.
• Work with partners to define data acquisition priorities and sources.
