Confluence Technologies, Inc. is seeking a Lead Software Engineer to join the Omnia Platform team.

This hands-on technical leadership role will own complex engineering challenges, influence architecture, and shape a strategic multi-tenant SaaS platform used by institutional clients worldwide. Based in Valencia, Spain with a hybrid model, you will design and build backend services in C#/.NET, work with MongoDB Atlas, Azure/Kubernetes, and contribute across the stack with React/TypeScript.

• Significant software engineering experience with deep expertise in C# and .NET.
• Strong backend development experience within enterprise SaaS environments.
• Experience with MongoDB or comparable NoSQL technologies.
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms, containerised applications, and Kubernetes.
• Experience building and operating multi-tenant software applications.
• Strong understanding of software architecture, scalability, and system design.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently on complex technical challenges.
• Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS).
• Python and data-processing workflows.
• React, JavaScript, TypeScript, and Redux.
• Technical leadership, mentoring, or people leadership exposure.
• DevOps and CI/CD practices.

• Develop data processing and calculation workflows using Python and modern dataframe technologies.
• Contribute across the full stack, building user-facing functionality with React, TypeScript, and Redux.
• Champion best practices in software quality, testing, code reviews, and maintainability.
• Collaborate closely with Product, Architecture, and Engineering teams to shape solutions that deliver real client value.
• Mentor engineers, raise technical standards, and help foster a culture of continuous improvement.
• Leverage AI-assisted development tools to accelerate delivery and enhance engineering effectiveness.

We're looking for a Lead Software Engineer to join our Omnia Platform team, a global engineering group building a modern, multi-tenant SaaS solution used by institutional clients worldwide.

This is a hands-on technical leadership role where you'll own complex engineering challenges, influence architectural decisions, and help shape the future of a strategic platform that’s central to our business. You'll join a collaborative team spanning Spain, the US, and Vietnam, working alongside talented engineers across multiple disciplines and time zones.

As a Lead Software Engineer, you'll play a key role in designing, developing, and evolving the Omnia platform.

You will:

• Design and build scalable backend services and APIs using C# and .NET.
• Work with MongoDB Atlas, optimising data models and application performance.

Omnia is a key regulatory reporting SaaS platform supporting institutional clients globally. You'll help drive its continued evolution and modernisation.

From distributed cloud architecture and large-scale data processing to performance optimisation and platform reliability, you'll tackle impactful technical problems every day.

This role offers significant ownership and visibility, with the opportunity to guide technical direction and potentially grow into a broader development leadership position over time.
