Frontiers is seeking a Full Stack .NET Engineer to join the Researcher Profiles Service team. You will design, develop, and maintain scalable web applications using .NET and Vue.js, collaborating with cross‑functional teams to deliver a global data platform.

We embrace AI‑driven design and expect you to own high‑impact projects end‑to‑end, mentoring juniors and driving performance, reliability, and modern tech practices in a hybrid, multinational environment.

Formación

• 5+ years of software engineering experience, specializing in .NET Core/Framework.
• 3+ years with modern front-end frameworks, Vue.js preferred.
• Familiar with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Deep expertise in Vue.js (Vue2 & Vue3) and state management.
• Strong SQL Server experience with performance tuning.
• Experience building APIs with REST and GraphQL.
• Experience integrating AI into customer-facing applications.
• Experience owning complex distributed architectures.
• Knowledge of microservices and micro-frontend concepts.
• Comfortable working in a hybrid, multinational team.

Responsabilidades

• Enhance and support existing solutions built with older versions of .NET and Vue.js.
• Collaborate with product managers, architects, and other cross‑functional teams to gather requirements, assess technical feasibility, and determine optimal implementation strategies.
• Collaborate within a multinational, cross‑functional team to deliver software solutions aligned with business needs.
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code while adhering to best practices.
• Ensure the quality of the delivered solutions.
• Optimize applications for performance, scalability, and responsiveness.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical challenges.
• Conduct code reviews and mentor junior engineers.
• Possess a willingness to learn, a flexible approach, and stay current with emerging trends in IT to maintain an up‑to‑date technology stack.
• Have a business‑oriented attitude with a focus on delivering measurable outcomes for end‑users. Demonstrate experience in owning and driving full‑stack projects end‑to‑end, from the specification refinement phase to production monitoring

About the Role

We are looking for an enthusiastic Full Stack .NET Engineer to join our team. You will work in the Researcher Profiles Service team, where we build and manage a global‑scale academic data platform. Through powerful APIs and intuitive UIs, we make critical research information accessible to the rest of the company and to end‑users worldwide.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable, high‑performance web applications using .NET and Vue.js

Requirements

• Strong expertise in SQL Server, including performance tuning, indexing strategies, query optimization, and troubleshooting production issues
• Heavy experience in implementing APIs with REST and GraphQL
• Experience integrating AI solutions into customer‑facing applications
• Proficiency in leveraging AI to enhance daily engineering work
• Experience in owning complex, distributed system architectures
• Solid understanding of microservices and micro‑frontend concepts
• Collaborative and thriving in a hybrid environment

Nice‑to‑Have Skills

• Experience with NoSQL databases (MongoDB)
• Experience with containerization platforms (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes)
