Mimica is hiring Senior+ engineers to lead backend development for ML-driven tasks. You will own core Python services interfacing with ML models and contribute to our platform architecture and DevEx.

This fully remote role offers collaboration with Data Scientists and scalable systems. You will join a Python-focused chapter, shaping technical direction, driving architecture decisions, and mentoring teammates while delivering robust, observable services across data pipelines and automation

Formación

• 8+ years of software engineering with prior Lead/Staff responsibilities.
• Strong Python and backend engineering skills.
• Experience with async/concurrent programming.
• Experience owning projects end-to-end, including architecture and deployment.
• Strong testing practices and maintainable tests.
• Experience with observability and tracing.
• Knowledge of performance optimization and memory management.
• Experience mentoring others and improving development practices.
• Fluency in English and strong communication.

Responsabilidades

• Write Python applications that are resilient and integrate with a service-oriented architecture.
• Mentor others to improve Developer Experience and code clarity.
• Develop observability for ML apps and GenAI/LLM integrations using Grafana Stack.
• Build integrations and services that communicate with Google Services.
• Collaborate with Data Scientists and ML Engineers through productionising models.
• Respond to incidents affecting ML applications including triage of CPU, memory, and GPU issues.
• Document procedures and guides to facilitate knowledge sharing and mentoring.
• Participate in hiring and onboarding new team members and end-to-end project management.
