SplitMetrics is seeking a Team Lead (Python) to join our remote-first engineering team. You will own the technical roadmap, lead backend, full stack and QA engineers, and coordinate quarterly planning with senior leadership to deliver high-impact data platforms.

You will drive data lakehouse projects, optimize performance, and ensure reliable data pipelines while maintaining strong business ownership and clear communication in English.

Formación

• 6+ years of Python experience, including high-performance data systems.
• 2+ years in a role with technical leadership responsibilities.
• Experience with planning, estimation and delivering complex projects.
• Deep familiarity with data lakehouse architectures.
• Experience with data gathering / data scraping.
• Strong understanding of performance optimization and scalability.
• Able to own decisions with business impact.
• B1+ English level.

Responsabilidades

• Take full ownership of planning and delivering technical roadmap items.
• Lead the backend, full stack and QA engineers in the team, organize day-to-day work and ensure predictable delivery.
• Plan work for the next quarter and contribute to multi-quarter planning with Directors and Product Manager.
• Maintain and review current technical risks; manage risks early.
• Optimize data gathering processes, data pipelines, performance and system reliability.
• Drive modernization of legacy services and reduce technical debt.
• Collaborate with product managers and architects on priorities and alignment.
• Ensure proper documentation, visibility and knowledge sharing inside the team.
