Job summary

Rover in Barcelona is seeking a technically-minded Lead Analyst who loves the intersection of data modeling and marketing strategy. You will own attribution logic and drive reporting modernization to deliver clean, automated insights.

You will partner with data scientists on EDA, support predictive modeling (LTV, churn), and enable stakeholders with a robust data foundation. This hybrid role requires Barcelona-based or relocation and offers a dog-friendly, flexible workspace, with ongoing team

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in Analytics or Analytics Engineering, with a focus on Marketing or Growth data.
• Expert-level SQL proficiency and ability to write complex calculations for BI tools.
• Deep understanding of Marketing Attribution logic across Acquisition and Retention/Repeat.
• Experience with Data Modeling and Gold Layer datasets for self-service.
• Strong knowledge of experimentation logic and test design.
• Ability to translate data concepts for non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Own Marketing Attribution and refine models to measure impact on New and Repeat bookings.
• Modernize the Reporting Suite and migrate reports to BI tools with clean SQL calculations.
• Scale Experimentation Operations and implement new tools (Statsig) with templates for analysis.
• Enable Advanced Analytics with collaboration with Data Scientists for EDA and predictive modeling.
