Job summary

Lever, Inc. seeks a Lead Learning Experience Designer to shape practical, outcome-driven learning programs for enterprise and professional audiences.

You will guide the full design and development lifecycle for AI, digital transformation, leadership, and productivity topics, collaborating with clients, SMEs, and cross-functional teams. The role emphasizes scalable, reusable instructional resources and AI-powered activities.

Qualifications

• Five or more years of professional experience in instructional design, learning experience design, curriculum development, or related field with substantial experience creating instructor-led training content.
• Demonstrated ability to design high-quality learning experiences for enterprise, professional, technical, and workplace audiences.
• Strong experience developing practical learning materials including presentations, facilitator guides, activities, assessments, case studies, labs, simulations, and learner resources.
• Proven experience managing clients, stakeholders, subject matter experts, instructors, vendors, or cross-functional partners throughout a content development lifecycle.
• Familiarity with LMS, CMS, and instructional authoring tools and an understanding of Bloom’s taxonomy and ADDIE.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end learning design from discovery through development, QA, and delivery.
• Define objectives, personas, scope, timelines, and resources aligned with client needs and goals.
• Collaborate with sales, product, client success, solutions, and delivery teams to identify learning needs and pathways.
• Support discovery and pre-sales conversations by assessing audience readiness and relevant use cases.
• Design and develop instructor-led experiences for AI, digital transformation, leadership, and workplace productivity across technical and non-technical audiences.
• Create engaging materials including presentations, facilitator guides, learner workbooks, labs, simulations, assessments, and practical exercises.
• Incorporate AI tools and workplace technologies into learning activities where appropriate.
• Develop interactive exercises covering prompt refinement, workflow mapping, and real-world business simulations.
• Translate complex concepts into accessible learning content with SME collaboration.
• Apply adult learning principles and accessibility standards to support measurable outcomes.
• Keep content current by monitoring industry trends and emerging technologies.
• Coordinate with translation/localization partners for international audiences.
• Standardize reusable learning components, templates, assessments, and program structures with product and LMS teams.
• Identify opportunities to turn customized materials into scalable products and repeatable delivery models.
• Contribute to evolving the learning portfolio by identifying client requirements and market trends.
