Strativ Group in Madrid is seeking a Senior/Lead Embedded Systems Engineer for aerospace applications. This hands-on role focuses on systems‑level development, integrating embedded software with sensors, cameras, and onboard electronics, and requires deep understanding of hardware interfaces.

You’ll collaborate with software, hardware and electronics teams to design, implement, and validate real‑time embedded solutions, optimize performance, implement RTOS and debugging strategies, and own

Formación

• 4+ years of experience in low-level embedded software development.
• Proven experience in developing embedded systems across hardware and software boundaries.
• Experience with RTOS or bare‑metal real‑time environments.
• Hands-on experience with hardware interfaces such as SPI, I2C, UART and CAN.
• Ability to read schematics and datasheets, understanding how software interacts with hardware.
• Strong systems‑level thinking and problem-solving across software and hardware layers.
• Collaborative work with hardware, electronics and software teams.

Responsabilidades

• Develop and maintain embedded Linux software for onboard systems.
• Develop low-level software that interfaces directly with sensors, cameras, communications equipment, and other hardware.
• Debug and resolve issues spanning both software and hardware components.
• Optimize system performance, reliability, and real‑time behaviour.
• Contribute to software architecture, system integration, and overall platform development.
• Work with electronics and hardware engineers during board bring‑up and system integration.
• Analyse documentation including schematics and component datasheets.
