Strativ Group is seeking a Senior Embedded Systems Engineer/Lead to own the architectural vision and lifecycle of flight firmware and EGSE software. You will bridge software and hardware across propulsion control systems, with responsibility for architecture, implementation, and continuous improvement of reliable embedded solutions.

Formación

• 4+ years of low-level programming, ideally in C and/or C++.
• Experience developing embedded systems.
• Experience with RTOS, bare-metal, or real-time embedded environments.
• Experience with hardware interfaces such as SPI, I2C, UART, and CAN.
• Ability to interpret schematics, datasheets, and hardware documentation.
• Strong systems-level thinking and ability to troubleshoot across software and hardware.

Responsabilidades

• Embedded Software Ownership: full lifecycle ownership from architecture to deployment for propulsion control systems and EGSE tooling.
• Engineering Leadership: mentor and guide a growing embedded software team, promote best practices.
• Verification & Reliability: develop validation approaches including HIL, automated tests and embedded CI/CD.
• Software Architecture & Modernisation: design modular firmware and migrate from 8-bit bare-metal to 32-bit RTOS platforms.
• Technical Evaluation: assess designs and plan practical implementation strategies.
• Hardware/Software Integration: collaborate with hardware engineers to integrate firmware with propulsion hardware.
• Engineering Reviews & Documentation: contribute to design reviews and maintain clear documentation.
