Blu Selection in Barcelona is seeking a Lead DevOps Engineer to own and shape the DevOps function across time zones, guiding infrastructure strategy, AWS cloud architecture, CI/CD, and IaC while mentoring cross-regional teams.

You will work with major brands from Barcelona, visiting the office 1–2 times per week, and will lead initiatives to integrate security, observability, and reliability into daily operations while maintaining strong client communications.

Formación

• 5+ years of experience in DevOps, SRE, or related infrastructure roles.
• Strong expertise in AWS services and cloud architecture.
• Proficiency in Linux system administration.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, automation, and IaC (Terraform, Ansible, or similar).
• Fluent in English (Spanish a plus).
• Leadership mindset with mentoring experience or readiness to lead.

Responsabilidades

• Own and shape the DevOps function across the organization.

As Lead DevOps Engineer, you own and shape the DevOps function within a growing European hub. You combine technical leadership with strong client communication, guiding infrastructure strategy across time zones and teams. You will drive AWS-based cloud architecture, CI/CD, and IaC while mentoring cross-regional DevOps members. This role offers high visibility, startup-style autonomy, and a chance to influence how DevOps integrates with the business. You’ll join a mission-driven agency delivering enterprise web experiences for major brands from Barcelona.

• Salary from 60K gross/year

• Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines and automation workflows
• Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using modern tooling
• Administer and maintain Linux-based systems, web servers, and application servers
• Monitor system performance and reliability using observability tools
• Lead incident response, root cause analysis, and resolution
• Visit the client’s Barcelona office 1–2 times per week for brainstorming and alignment
• Communicate directly with clients and stakeholders
• Lead and mentor DevOps teams across APAC and the US
• Own the DevOps function across the organization, evolving it from a black box to an integrated capability
• 5+ years of experience in DevOps, SRE, or related infrastructure roles
