Schneider Electric is seeking a Lead Cloud Engineer in Barcelona to drive cloud operations supporting AWS-based services. You will manage incidents, optimize workloads, and advance IaC across Kubernetes platforms while aligning with security standards.

The role emphasizes automation, cross-team collaboration, and cost-efficient cloud management. Responsibilities include maintaining EKS clusters, delivering requests within SLAs, and promoting internal standards to improve security and day-to-day

Formación

• 3–5 years of AWS experience
• 8 years Windows/Linux administration
• DevOps experience with Terraform, Python, Bash
• Experience with EKS and Kubernetes
• ITIL knowledge
• Collaboration across multiple teams

Responsabilidades

• Lead cloud operations and manage incidents (P1/P2) to ensure fast resolutions
• Deliver user requests and service changes within agreed SLAs
• Maintain and upgrade EKS clusters and related infrastructure
• Develop automation scripts to increase day-to-day efficiency
• Migrate services to IaC and Kubernetes-based platforms
• Promote internal standards and improve security practices in day-to-day operations

In this role you will lead cloud operations to support and advance AWS-based services, aligning infrastructure with security standards and IaC evolution. You’ll work across IT layers and collaborate with multiple teams to ensure reliable, scalable cloud platforms. You’ll drive automation, standardization, and continuous improvement to accelerate time-to-market for cloud requests.
