Job summary

Blu is building its European hub in Barcelona and seeks a DevOps Lead to own the function, lead teams across APAC and the US, and communicate with clients directly. You will shape infrastructure strategy and act as a bridge between technical and non-technical stakeholders.

We value an outgoing leader who can mentor teams, design cloud architectures, and drive IaC and CI/CD initiatives. Expect hybrid work, 1-2 client visits weekly, and a starting salary around 60K gross per year.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in DevOps, SRE, or related infra roles.
• Strong AWS services and cloud architecture expertise.
• Proficiency in Linux administration and automation.
• Fluent English; Spanish a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead and optimize AWS cloud infrastructure for major client projects.
• Design and manage CI/CD pipelines and automation.
• Develop and maintain IaC using Terraform/Ansible.
• Administer Linux-based systems, web and application servers.
• Monitor performance with observability tools.
• Lead incident response and RCA.
• Visit Barcelona office 1-2 times per week for sessions.
• Communicate with clients directly and lead cross-region teams.
• Over time own DevOps function across the org.
