Job summary

Talantir, a fast-growing SaaS company in Barcelona, seeks a Lead DevOps Engineer to design, implement, and manage scalable AWS cloud infrastructure. You will automate deployments, optimize performance, and ensure reliability across production systems in a hybrid work model.

The role requires 5+ years in DevOps, strong Linux, container, and scripting skills, and leadership abilities to mentor teammates. English proficiency is essential; Catalan/Spanish is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 5+ years of experience in DevOps, Cloud Engineering, or Systems Administration roles.
• Proven expertise in designing, managing, and optimizing cloud infrastructure on AWS.
• Strong experience with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Bash, Python, PowerShell).
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI).
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation).
• Solid understanding of networking concepts, security best practices, and monitoring tools.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team and mentor others.
• Familiarity with Linux/Unix environments.
• Proficiency in English; knowledge of Catalan or Spanish is a plus.
• Ability to work in a hybrid model from our Barcelona, Catalonia office.

Key Responsibilities
