Grand Hyatt Barcelona is seeking a Linen & Laundry Attendant to join our Housekeeping team. You will manage linens and uniforms, ensuring cleanliness, organization, and availability across departments, while supporting a smooth guest experience behind the scenes.

The role involves a rotating schedule, weekend and holiday shifts, and close cooperation with Housekeeping and other departments to maintain efficient linen flows throughout the property.

Formación

• Previous experience in a laundry, linen room, or housekeeping role, preferably within hotels or large-scale facilities.
• Knowledge of garment care and laundry processes.
• Ability to properly iron different types of garments and textiles.
• Basic sewing skills for minor repairs and alterations.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to high standards of cleanliness and presentation.
• Well-organized, with the ability to work efficiently in repetitive tasks.
• Team player with the ability to collaborate effectively with other departments.
• Proactive, responsible, and service-oriented attitude.
• Fluency in Spanish is required; knowledge of English will be considered an asset.

Responsabilidades

• Sorting, washing, drying, ironing, and folding linens and uniforms according to established standards
• Ensuring the proper storage and organization of clean linens and uniforms
• Distributing linen and uniforms to different departments as required
• Monitoring linen stock levels and reporting shortages or damages
• Identifying and separating stained or damaged items for special treatment or replacement
• Maintaining cleanliness and order in the laundry and linen room areas
• Operating laundry equipment safely and efficiently
• Following hygiene, safety, and chemical handling procedures at all times
• Supporting inventory controls and participating in periodic stock counts
• Responding promptly to departmental requests related to linen and uniforms
• Coordinating with external laundry suppliers when needed
• Maintaining accurate records of laundry operations and usage

About The Role

As a Linen & Laundry Attendant, you will act as an ambassador of the Hyatt brand, ensuring all linens and uniforms meet the highest quality standards, supporting the overall operation and guest satisfaction.

This is an operational position with a rotating schedule, including shifts, weekends, and public holidays according to hotel operational needs. You will work closely with Housekeeping and other departments to maintain a smooth and efficient flow of linen and uniforms across the property.
