Descripción del empleo

About Stark: Stark builds the world’s most powerful electric motorcycles. From the VARG MX to the road‑legal VARG EX & SM, our bikes have won world championships and are engineered to outperform anything with a combustion engine.

We’re based in Sant Boi, Barcelona, growing fast (77% year‑on‑year), and building a team that will take us even further. If you want to work on a product that people are genuinely obsessed with, this is it.

Stark will become the global market leader in premium motorcycles. Building premium motorcycles requires innovation and we need your help to make us succeed.

Our mission is to lead the way towards a sustainable motorcycle industry, by reducing plastic and CO₂ pollution.

This will be achieved by building sustainable products that are superior to traditional technology in terms of performance, emotion and design.

The Role

The engineering department at Stark Future develops cutting‑edge motorcycles from the ground up. As a Laboratory Technician, you will be an integral part of our testing team, supporting the set‑up and day‑to‑day operation of our in‑house physical testing laboratory.

You will work hands‑on with test equipment and instrumentation, prepare and execute test campaigns, and contribute to the continuous improvement of how we validate our motorcycle systems. This is a great opportunity for an engineer at the start of their career to grow in a technically demanding environment, develop expertise in physical testing methodologies, and play a direct role in the development of a world‑class electric motorcycle.

What You’ll Do
  • Support the set‑up, commissioning, and daily operation of the physical testing laboratory, including test benches, rigs, and associated measurement equipment.
  • Prepare test samples, instrumentation, and test setups for scheduled test campaigns following defined procedures.
  • Execute component and subsystem tests – performance, durability, fatigue, and environmental – under the guidance of the Laboratory Leader.
  • Record, organise, and perform initial processing of test data, ensuring accurate and complete documentation of all test activities.
  • Maintain laboratory equipment in good working order, coordinate calibration activities, and flag anomalies or maintenance needs.
  • Support the build, assembly, and disassembly of motorcycle component prototypes for laboratory and on‑vehicle testing.
  • Assist in the development and refinement of test procedures and laboratory standards.
  • Contribute to failure investigation activities by supporting physical inspection, sample preparation, and data collection.
  • Maintain a safe, organised, and well‑documented laboratory environment.

  • Willingness to learn and develop in a technically demanding, fast‑paced environment.
  • Ability to work methodically and follow technical procedures with precision and care.
  • Good team player – collaborative, proactive, and reliable.
