The Role

We are looking for a Process Engineer – Battery/Motor Assembly & Process Monitoring to join our growing “Production Process Development” team, reporting to the Head of Process Development Production. As a process engineer for the motor/battery/inverter assembly, you will be responsible for setting up parameter and process monitoring for new motor and battery assemblies, at the forefront of the creation of next-generation electric motorcycles, batteries, motors and associated products.

You’ll be responsible for developing the whole process and parameter monitoring with the help of a supplier, defining relevant parameters for each assembly station that need to be monitored, analyzed and controlled in the motor, inverter and battery assembly. You will also support the ramp-up phase of future assembly lines for the street market, consulting Stark’s R&D, production and quality through advice on available assembly parameters, setting up reports, analyses and monitoring drifts or outliers through the assembly process. You’ll need hands‑on experience and the ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, evolving, and highly innovative environment.

What You’ll Do
  • Support setting up a parameter and process monitoring system for the motor/battery/inverter assembly line
  • Define relevant parameters for each assembly station to monitor, analyze and control
  • Provide automated reports in order to monitor and control the process, giving recommendations to maintenance, engineering and quality
  • Build your knowledge of key motor/battery/inverter production technologies — such as dispensing, laser welding, tooling, and leak testing — and act as a point of reference for the team
  • Support close collaboration between engineering and other departments across all phases of the project, from prototype through mass production
  • Support testing and analysis activities, providing input to engineering and manufacturing teams
  • Support the ramp-up of new assembly lines, including build‑up activities for motor, battery, and inverter assembly processes, with troubleshooting responsibility for related assembly processes
  • Monitor key serial production targets such as scrap rate, consumable cost, and cycle time, and help ensure they’re achieved on time, within the expected quality and cost
  • Prepare workshop documentation, including working instructions and production station guides
  • Support the whole organization with the data and system being set up, and document all processes, files and learnings
