Labwest in Malaga, Spain, invites an experienced Administration and Customer Service Supervisor to lead our small administration team in the laboratory.

This hands-on leadership role focuses on delivering exceptional customer service while managing day-to-day admin operations, overseeing workflows, and collaborating with the Laboratory Operations Manager and the Instrumentation team to ensure smooth lab performance and a high‑performing culture.

Laboratory Administration and Customer Service Supervisor

Reporting to the Laboratory Operations Manager, we have an exciting opportunity for an experiencedAdministration and Customer Service Supervisorto lead our small administration team in our Laboratory in Malaga.

About the Opportunity:

This is a hands-on leadership role where you will lead exceptional customer service while managing the day-to-day operations of our busy administration team.

You will oversee laboratory administrative workflows and work closely with the Laboratory Operations Manager and the Instrumentation team to ensure the smooth running of the laboratory.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys being hands-on, creating efficient processes, and contributes to a positive, high-performing culture

About You:

To succeed in this role,you will be willing to remain operationally involved, experienced in delivering exceptional customer service, proficient in office administration, with demonstrated leadership capability.

Confidence in customer service provision, and coaching and mentoring team members in this regard

Demonstrated experience in leadership or supervisory experience managing frontline staff

Demonstrated experience in an environment where a high level of attention to detail is required.

Strong communication and collaboration skills.

High attention to detail with a commitment to quality

Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise and manage competing demands.

Ability to organise, plan and multi-task work

Intermediate computer skills across Microsoft Office and administrative systems.

Any formal qualifications in business administration would be highly regarded
