A restaurant in Port d'Andratx is seeking a reliable and motivated Kitchen Assistant to join its team on a permanent, full-time basis. In this role, you will be an indispensable part of daily culinary operations, supporting the kitchen team with food prep, station maintenance, and smooth workflow during peak service times.

Your responsibilities include:

• Preparing fresh raw ingredients, including peeling, cutting, washing, and slicing vegetables, meats, fish, and other food items.
• Assisting cooks with basic culinary preparations, measuring and weighing ingredients accurately, and making sauces, dressings, and garnishes according to team instructions.
• Assisting during busy lunch and dinner services to help process customer orders promptly.
• Keeping track of inventory, monitoring stock levels, and organizing storage facilities according to food safety guidelines.
• Maintaining cleanliness and hygiene across work tables, cutting boards, utensils, and general work areas at all times.

What you need to bring to the role:

• A minimum of 12 months (1 year) of previous professional kitchen experience.
• Solid knowledge of kitchen hygiene protocols, basic food prep, and knife handling skills.
• Good organizational skills, dependability, and the capacity to work efficiently under pressure during service.
• Flexibility and willingness to work a traditional split-shift restaurant schedule.

What you can expect from this position:

• A permanent (indefinite) contract offering stability in Mallorca.
• A gross annual salary of 25,200 EUR.
• Overtime hours compensated separately.
• A full-time schedule structured in split shifts: 11:00 to 14:30 and 19:00 to 22:30.
• A workplace situated directly in Port d'Andratx.
