Job summary

Restaurant in Port d'Andratx, Mallorca, is seeking a reliable Kitchen Assistant for a permanent, full-time role. You will support daily culinary operations, assist with food prep, station maintenance, and ensure smooth workflows during peak service times.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 12 months of professional kitchen experience.
• Solid knowledge of kitchen hygiene, basic food prep, and knife handling.
• Good organizational skills, dependability, and ability to work under pressure during service.
• Flexibility for split-shift schedule.

Responsibilities

• Prepare fresh raw ingredients: vegetables, meats, fish, and other items.
• Assist cooks with basic culinary prep, measure and weigh ingredients, and make sauces/dressings/garnishes.
• Support during busy lunch and dinner services to process orders promptly.
• Monitor inventory and organize storage according to food safety guidelines.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene across work areas and equipment.
