LIM Global Consulting, S.L. represents an international biotechnology client seeking an Oncology Key Account Manager in Spain. You will promote the oncology portfolio to hospitals, cancer centers, and academia, focusing on solid tumors and gynecologic oncology, while navigating regional access and reimbursement.

You will work cross-functionally to remove access barriers, build strategic relationships with KOLs, and drive patient access to innovative antibody therapies across the Spanish market.

Formación

  • 10+ years pharmaceutical sales experience, including at least 5 years in oncology
  • Experience in gynecological oncology or ADCs is highly desirable
  • Proven track record of exceeding sales targets in complex therapeutic areas
  • Strong ability to build and maintain relationships with KOLs, teams and key accounts
  • Solid understanding of Spain’s oncology reimbursement pathways and regional access
  • Experience launching new oncology products in the Spanish market
  • Excellent communication, presentation and organizational skills
  • Proficiency with Office, CRM systems, and digital engagement tools

Our client is an international biotechnology company with a core purpose of guiding its unstoppable team to strive toward improving the lives of patients with innovative and differentiated antibody therapeutics.

The Oncology Key Account Manager will play a pivotal role in building and maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders, including hospitals, specialist cancer centers, academic medical institutions, and oncology professionals across Spain. This individual will be responsible for promoting the oncology portfolio, with a focus on solid tumors and gynecologic oncology, to healthcare professionals and key decision-makers.

The successful candidate will work cross-functionally to identify opportunities, remove barriers to access, and deliver value to healthcare professionals, institutions, and patients.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute a territory business plan to achieve or exceed commercial objectives and apply strong commercial acumen through market analysis, competitor intelligence, and agile adjustment of tactics to evolving market conditions
  • Drive brand awareness and product adoption by cultivating long-term, value-based partnerships with healthcare professionals and key decision-makers.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Medical Affairs, Marketing, Market Access, and other teams to align communication, materials, and initiatives with local market needs.
  • Identify opportunities to improve patient pathways and facilitate access to innovative treatments.
  • Represent the company and their portfolio with professionalism and integrity and a strong commitment to ethical practices
  • Manage territory budgets and resources efficiently and in line with internal and external compliance standards. Ensure full adherence to Spanish law, industry codes of practice, and internal compliance policies.
  • Drive excellence in territory management through strategic planning, optimal resource utilization, and consistent, high-quality execution of initiatives.
Regional and Local Market Access:
  • Drive regional and local access initiatives to ensure timely product availability and uptake following national reimbursement.
  • Map and engage key stakeholders involved in access decision-making, including regional payers, hospital administrators, pharmacy directors, procurement teams, and healthcare authorities.
  • Support inclusion of the product in regional formularies, therapeutic pathways, and hospital protocols.
  • Monitor regional funding mechanisms, procurement processes, and access barriers, developing tailored action plans to address them.
  • Collaborate closely with Market Access, Medical Affairs, and Government Affairs colleagues to implement regional strategies.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 10 years of pharmaceutical sales experience, including at least 5 years in oncology. Expertise in gynecological oncology and/or antibody-drug conjugates (ADCs) is highly desirable.
  • Proven success working across both large pharmaceutical companies and smaller biotech organizations, with deep knowledge of the Spanish oncology ecosystem.
  • Demonstrated track record of exceeding sales targets within complex therapeutic areas.
  • Strong ability to build and maintain relationships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs), multidisciplinary teams, and key accounts in the solid tumor market.
  • Solid understanding of Spain’s oncology reimbursement pathways, including regional access systems and funding mechanisms for injectable therapies.
  • Experience launching new oncology products in the Spanish market.
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, and organizational skills, with keen attention to detail in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, CRM systems, and digital engagement tools (e.g., Veeva Engage).
  • Fluency in English is a plus.
  • Willingness to travel across the assigned Spain territory as required.
