AECOM Barcelona seeks a motivated IT graduate to join our telecom, security and control systems team. This role offers hands-on exposure to designing and supporting building systems within dynamic projects.

You will assist with drawings, reports and technical documentation, participate in meetings with architects and engineers, liaise with suppliers, and gradually assume more responsibility from design through to delivery. Fluency in English and Spanish is required.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Telecommunications, Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, or related field.
• 1–2 years of experience in design or support of electronic security systems within building projects (or similar).
• Basic understanding of CCTV, Access Control, Intrusion Detection Systems, and related security infrastructure.
• Working knowledge of AutoCAD and Microsoft Office; Revit and Visio are a plus.

Job Description

We are looking for a motivated IT graduate to join our telecom, security, and control systems department. This is an excellent opportunity for recent graduates eager to develop their technical and business skills in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Telecommunications, Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, or a related field.
• 1-2years of experience in the design or support of electronic security systems within building projects.
• Basic understanding of CCTV, Access Control, Intrusion Detection Systems, and associated security infrastructure.
• Good level of English and Spanish, both written and spoken.
• Familiarity with applicable regulations and industry standards related to electronic security systems.
• Interest in security technologies and willingness to learn about vendor solutions and system integration.
• Working knowledge of AutoCAD and Microsoft Office. Experience with Revit and Visio is a plus.
• Understanding of multidisciplinary project environments and ability to collaborate with Architecture and MEP teams.
• Exposure to telecommunications infrastructure, voice evacuation systems, or building management systems would be advantageous.
• International project exposure is a plus but not required.
• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and willingness to develop technical expertise.
• Proactive attitude, eagerness to learn, and ability to work effectively within a team.
