Job summary

AUTO1 Group in Madrid is seeking a Junior Technical Project Manager – Strategy & Operations to join its European teams. You will develop internal tools, automate processes, and help optimize day-to-day operations across markets with a hands-on, analytical approach.

You will collaborate with international stakeholders, coordinate projects with tech and business teams, and contribute to digital transformation while growing your skills in software development and process automation.

Qualifications

• 2-4 years of experience in strategic business development, consulting, or startups.
• Background in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related technical fields.
• Programming skills in TypeScript, Python, or Google Apps Script, with knowledge of frontend and backend development.
• Familiarity with GitHub, Docker, Google Sheets, Visual Studio, AWS, or Jenkins.
• Experience in process optimization, automation, or internal tool development is a plus.
• Fluency in Spanish and English (additional languages are a plus).

Responsibilities

• Develop innovative internal tools, applications, and prototypes to optimize business processes in European markets.
• Drive process automation by identifying opportunities to streamline workflows and implement scalable solutions.
• Lead technical projects by coordinating development, testing, and improvement with technology teams in Europe.
• Coordinate international initiatives across different markets and cross-functional teams.
• Support implementation and training, ensuring successful rollout of new tools and processes.
