AUTO1 Group in Madrid is seeking a Junior Project Manager – Business Analytics to support our Branch Real Estate & Expansion team across Europe. You will convert data into decisions using SQL and BI tools, tracking branch performance and surface trends.

This hands-on role offers growth into project management, with cross-functional collaboration across Purchasing, Expansion, Real Estate, and other teams, and exposure to high-impact analytics in a fast-growing international network.

Formación

• 1–3 years of experience in business analytics, consulting, engineering, or similar analytical roles.
• Degree background in Business Analytics, Management, Economics, Engineering, or related quantitative field.
• Strong SQL and data interpretation abilities.

Responsabilidades

• Convert data to decisions by querying and interpreting data to surface trends and actionable insights.
• Drive high-impact analyses within real estate and expansion projects from data gathering to recommendations.
• Build lightweight dashboards, trackers, and tools to automate reporting with minimal engineering resources.
• Identify inefficiencies and design scalable, data-backed improvements.
• Coordinate initiatives with Purchasing, Expansion, Real Estate, and cross-functional teams.

What we offer:

As a Junior Project Manager – Business Analytics, you'll support the strategy, growth, and day-to-day operations of AUTO1's Branch Real Estate & Expansion team across Europe. Reporting directly to the Head of Real Estate & Expansion Europe, you will:

• Convert Data to Decisions: Query and interpret data (SQL and beyond) to track branch and expansion performance, surface trends, and turn raw numbers into clear, actionable insight for the team.
• Drive High-Impact Analysis: Take ownership of analytical workstreams within larger real estate and expansion projects, from data gathering through to recommendation.
• Build Tools: Prototype dashboards, trackers, and lightweight internal tools — including using AI-assisted coding tools such as Claude Code — to automate reporting and solve operational problems without waiting on engineering resources.
• Optimize Operations: Identify inefficiencies in branch or expansion processes and help design and implement scalable, data-backed improvements.
• Coordinate Initiatives: Work closely with Purchasing, Expansion, Real Estate, and other cross-functional teams to keep projects aligned and moving.

We're looking for a curious, technically comfortable mind who's more energized by data than by process for its own sake. You'll thrive in this role if you have:

• 1–3 years of experience in business analytics, consulting, engineering, or a similarly analytical role (strong recent graduates with relevant internships or project work are welcome to apply).
• A background in Business Analytics, Management, Economics, Engineering, or another quantitative field.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to turn messy data into clear recommendations.
• Solid SQL skills and no hesitation writing or adapting your own queries.
• Comfort experimenting with AI-assisted coding tools (e.g., Claude Code) to build small internal tools — no formal software engineering background required, just a willingness to get hands-on.
• Familiarity with BI or reporting tools (e.g., Looker, Tableau, Power BI) is a plus.
• Fluency in Spanish and English (additional languages are a plus).
