Liferay is hiring an entry‑level Software Engineer to learn and contribute to enterprise products. You will maintain existing components and create new ones, with a focus on quality and reliability.

You will collaborate with global teams, grow Java skills, and contribute to a leading open‑source platform. English and Spanish communication are key in this role, with opportunities to work across regions.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent practical experience.
• Fluent in at least one programming language, and willing to learn/improve Java skills.
• Has basic knowledge of relevant tools like Git, IDEs, testing frameworks.
• Has basic notions of Computer Science and can understand software-related conversations and learn unknown concepts.
• Ability to learn quickly and work across English and Spanish.

Responsabilidades

• Work on exciting projects that are positioned to ensure Liferay’s leadership in the digital experience platform.
• Deliver high-quality code following TDD principles that continues to move Liferay forward in the industry.
• Fix bugs and add small features.
