ARCHIMED, a leading healthcare-focused investment firm, is offering a 6-month internship in Lyon, France. You will support strategic HR processes and work with international teams across Europe, North America, and Asia.

The role emphasizes cross-functional collaboration, mentorship, and exposure to governance and strategy discussions. Ideal candidates hold a Master’s degree, demonstrate strong project management and English communication skills, and thrive in a fast-paced, autonomous environment

Qualifications

• Master’s degree from a leading business or engineering school, or equivalent.
• Strong project management and organizational skills.
• Excellent relationship, communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal, in English.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and attend Management Committee / Partners meetings, coordinating with stakeholders to support ARCHIMED’s growth.
• Act as a project manager to ensure cross-functional value-creation initiatives succeed within portfolio companies.
• Perform ad-hoc research, analyses or prepare documents to feed ARCHIMED’s strategy design and deployment.
• Demonstrate strong analytical skills, attention to detail and excellent governance support (minutes, decks).
• Work autonomously with limited day-to-day supervision in a fast-paced environment.

The Team

• An international team (with more than40nationalities) with complementary education and experience in the investment, medical, scientific, strategic and operational sectors
• Composed of alumni from: INSEAD, Berkeley, Georgetown, Bocconi, HEC Paris,Pontset Chaussées, ESSEC, Imperial College, Dartmouth, etc.
• Professional backgrounds: Private Equity (3i,Siparex, USS Ltd, Barings,capiton), Consulting (A.T. Kearney, Bain, McKinsey), M&A (Lazard, EY, KPMG, PwC), Industry (Biotronik,Cerba, Pharmacy, Veterinary)

Your Role

Location: Lyon, France
Duration: 6 months
Start Date : ASAP

In a fast-paced environment, you will deliver on several strategic initiatives, including:

• Portfolio & strategic meetings: prepare and attend Management Committee / Partners meetings as well as portfolio management meetings, coordinating with various stakeholders to support continuous improvement and growth at ARCHIMED
• Project management: act as an enabler, key point of contact and project manager to ensure success of cross-functional initiatives related to value creation in ARCHIMED’s portfolio companies
• Analyses & presentation preparation: perform ad-hoc research, analyses or prepare documents to fuel ARCHIMED’s strategy design and deployment
• Demonstrate a minimum of 1-2 years’ professional experience, preferably in strategy consulting or Chief of Staff positions
• Possess a Master’s degree from a leading business or engineering school, or equivalent
• Strong project management and organizational skills: ability to plan, organize and prioritize work across multiple workstreams and stakeholders
• Proven analytical skills, attention to detail and strong work ethic
• Comfortable preparing decks, synthetizing minutes and conducting discussions in senior governance bodies
• Excellent relationship, communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal, in English
• Ability to work with sensitive, confidential information and exercise judgment accordingly
• Autonomous and proactive, able to operate with limited day-to-day supervision
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and demanding environment, with a positive mindset
• Interest in private equity, value creation and AI
