THE ROLE

We are looking for a Junior Project Manager to join our team and contribute to the implementation of national and international innovation projects.

This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate or early-career professional who is eager to learn, take on new challenges and gain hands-on experience across different aspects of project management.

Working closely with our project management team, you will be involved in a wide range of activities, from financial and administrative management to project reporting, communication and dissemination.

We are looking for someone who is curious, proactive, well-organised and adaptable, with a genuine interest in innovation, technology and collaborative projects.

  • Support the day-to-day implementation and coordination of national and European innovation projects, working alongside experienced Project Managers.
  • Assist with financial and administrative management, including budget monitoring, expense tracking and supporting documentation.
  • Contribute to the preparation of project reports, financial justifications and deliverables required by funding authorities.
  • Support communication and dissemination activities, including the preparation of project content, newsletters, presentations and contributions to social media.
  • Assist in the organisation of project meetings, workshops, events and other collaborative activities.
  • Contribute to the preparation of new project proposals, including research, documentation and administrative support.
  • Help maintain project documentation, monitor deadlines and ensure compliance with funding requirements.
  • Provide cross-functional support to the project management team and contribute to other cluster initiatives as needed.
REQUIREMENTS

  • Fluent Catalan, Spanish and English, both written and spoken.

  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proactive attitude, willingness to learn and ability to work independently while collaborating with others.
  • Good command of Microsoft Office tools, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Interest in innovation, digital transformation and European cooperation.

Previous experience in project management, European projects or publicly funded initiatives will be considered an advantage, but is not essential.

WHAT WE OFFER
  • An opportunity to build a career in innovation and project management, gaining hands-on experience in national and European projects.
  • Professional development and continuous learning, working closely with an experienced, multidisciplinary team.
  • Exposure to a wide range of activities and responsibilities, providing a comprehensive understanding of project management.
  • A flexible and collaborative working environment, with 50% remote working.
  • Opportunities to interact with companies, research organisations and innovation stakeholders across Europe.
  • Gross annual base salary of €24,000–€26,000, depending on the candidate's qualifications and experience.
