Euro-Funding in Madrid is seeking a European Projects specialist to manage projects funded by Horizon Europe, H2020, LIFE and other EU programmes. You will support coordinators and partners through project implementation, ensuring administrative and financial management and compliance with programme rules.

The role covers negotiation support, financial monitoring, reporting, liaison with funding bodies, and using the Funding & Tenders Portal.

Formación

• A higher education degree in a technical or scientific field, preferably in Engineering, Science or related disciplines.
• At least 3 years’ demonstrable experience in managing European and R&D&I projects.
• Experience with consortium projects and programmes such as Horizon Europe, H2020, LIFE 2014–2020 and 2021–2027, EUROSTARS and INTERREG is valued.
• Ability to organise, plan and monitor projects.
• Autonomy and ability to work both in a team and independently.
• Ability to operate in international environments and work with different partners.

What are we looking for?

We are looking to recruit a member of staff for the European Projects team who will be responsible for managing projects funded by European R&D&I programmes, primarily HORIZON EUROPE, H2020, LIFE 2014–2020 and 2021–2027, EUROSTARS and INTERREG.

The successful candidate will provide support to coordinators and partners throughout the various phases of project implementation, ensuring sound administrative and financial management and compliance with the procedures established by the European programmes.

What sort of candidate are we looking for?

• English: Advanced level, spoken and written.

The following will be considered an advantage:

• Experience with other R&D&I funding programmes.
• Knowledge and/or experience in financial management.
• International experience, particularly placements at research centres, public institutions or universities outside Spain.
• Willingness to travel.
