Job summary

Glovo Group in Barcelona seeks a Junior Privacy Counsel to join the Global Delivery Hero Data Protection Team. You will provide proactive privacy guidance, counsel internal stakeholders, and help implement privacy programs while ensuring regulatory compliance.

Based at our Glovo office in Barcelona, you will support data mapping, DPIAs, privacy policy development, and cross-functional initiatives across a global footprint.

Qualifications

• 0-1 years of experience in data protection/privacy or related areas with GDPR knowledge.
• Educational background in law, at least a bachelor’s degree.
• Certified expertise in EU privacy laws (IAPP, CIPM, TÜV DPO, etc.) is a plus.
• Excellent English language skills; Polish, Spanish or German are a plus.
• Demonstrated experience advising online technology companies and data-driven businesses across multiple jurisdictions is a plus.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills with cross-cultural collaboration.
• Proactive, takes ownership and supports initiatives forward.

Responsibilities

• Provide GDPR-based legal advice to the business and internal teams.
• Draft and negotiate DPAs and intra-group data transfer agreements.
• Conduct privacy due diligence for onboarding third-party service providers and M&A activities.
• Support data mapping and DPIAs; document processing activities.
• Develop, implement, and maintain global privacy policies and notices.
• Assist with communications to the Delivery Hero Group management and boards.
• Conduct privacy maturity audits and remediation planning.
• Support investigations or fines-related matters with data protection authorities.
• Monitor AI governance developments and contribute to governance frameworks.
