Ebury is seeking a Junior Payroll Specialist to act as the technical and operational heart of the employee experience. You will ensure payroll for 1,700+ professionals across 29 markets is paid accurately, on time, and in compliance with local regulations.

You will handle end-to-end payroll, document country control frameworks, and support month-end closes while partnering with Finance, HR, and the payroll provider to drive process excellence.

Formación

  • 1 year+ experience processing payroll across multiple countries.
  • Experience with a global payroll provider/system, preferably CloudPay.
  • Ability to take ownership of payroll processes.
  • Problem-solving mindset and positive attitude.
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to multitask.
  • Excellent communication skills in English.
  • Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, and formulas).

Responsabilidades

  • End-to-end processing of bi-monthly and monthly payrolls as part of a small team.
  • Analyze and document each country’s control framework and payroll processing guidance.
  • Ad hoc project support.
  • Manage relationships with Finance, HR and the payroll provider to ensure end-to-end process excellence.
  • Ensure compliance with statutory regulations and company policies.
  • Perform reconciliations and audit tasks for monthly payrolls.
  • Stay up to date with local payroll regulations.
  • Support Finance teams with month-end close and reporting activities.
  • Regularly review payroll processes and procedures to ensure efficiency and reliability.
  • Attend to escalated and critical payroll issues promptly.

Junior Payroll Specialist

What you’ll do
  • End-to-end processing of bi-monthly and monthly payrolls as part of a small team.

  • Support Finance teams with month‑end close and reporting activities.
  • Regularly review payroll processes and procedures to ensure efficiency and reliability.
  • Attend to all escalated and critical payroll related issues on a timely basis.
What you’ll need
  • At least 1 year of experience processing payroll across multiple countries.
  • Experience working with a global payroll provider/system, preferably CloudPay.
  • Ability to take ownership of payroll processes.
  • Problem‑solving mindset and positive attitude.
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to multitask.
  • Excellent communication skills in English.
  • Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, V‑lookup, and other formulas).
