Job summary

Ebury Leon Office is seeking a Junior Financial Accountant - Accounts Payable to join our Finance team in a Hybrid role: four days in the office and one day remote per week. You will process invoices, verify payments and manage expenses, contributing to accurate ledgers and timely month-end closes.

Ideal candidates have at least six months in accounting, strong Excel and bilingual English/Spanish, and a proactive, collaborative approach in a fast-paced fintech environment.

Qualifications

• At least six months of accounting experience.
• Advanced user of Microsoft Excel.
• English (C1) and Spanish (C1); other languages a plus.
• Detail-oriented, professional attitude and highly reliable.
• Strong skills in problem-solving, basic accounting principles, teamwork, documentation, data analysis and multi-tasking.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• ERP experience with NetSuite/Oracle, SAP and NAV is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Completing payments by receiving, processing, verifying, and reconciling invoices.
• Paying employees by verifying expense reports and preparing paychecks.
• Reconciling processed work by verifying entries and comparing system reports to balances.
• Maintaining accounting ledgers by verifying and posting account transactions.
• Preparing analyses of accounts and producing monthly reports.
• Cross-departmental projects.
• Collaborate in the audit process.
